The Middle MAX Menace Arm by Matthews is an industry-anticipated support stand, also known as a pipe boom, with augmented capabilities that answer the needs of the lens-creating community. Middle MAX's accessible design focuses on performance and storage, having a reach of over 12' and a weight capacity of 80 lb that allow it to support equipment up to six feet below grade­—all while fitting at 64" in storage. It provides great maneuverability thanks to its 10 x 3" puncture-proof tires and a hand truck-style steering handle, and it supports three lock-off or fixed-position keys as well as a standard self-leveling feature.
