K&M Rentals Covid – 19 Procedures
Currently the facility is closed to the public and all staff are working in separate parts of the facility.
If requested we allow assistants to come check equipment and pack their vans out in a sectioned off part of the facility with PPE supplied to them.
All equipment is being processed for cleaning prior to testing and testing technicians are wearing masks and gloves while preparing equipment orders.
Cameras that are touched by multiple people on set are being sent out with alcohol pads for regular wipe downs.
K&M Staff was trained by a medical professional on the proper way to put on PPE and take of PPE.
All workstations are stocked with hand sanitizer and all-purpose cleaner.
General Rules for Cleaning Given to Employees from CDC Guidance
Wear disposable gloves to clean and disinfect.
Clean surfaces using soap and water, then use disinfectant. Unless soap and water can harm the equipment
Routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (in the facility and on equipment)
More frequent cleaning and disinfection may be required based on level of use.
Always read and follow the directions on the label to ensure safe and effective use.
- Wear skin protection and consider eye protection for potential splash hazards
- Ensure adequate ventilation
- Use no more than the amount recommended on the label
- Use water at room temperature for dilution (unless stated otherwise on the label)
- Avoid mixing chemical products
- Label diluted cleaning solutions
- Store and use chemicals out of the reach of children and pets
How we pick our cleaners and get instructions on usage:
We try to use a bleach dilution whenever appropriate or;
We defer to the Environmental Protection Agency Guidance
